The Omani municipal council has approved a new formula for leasing contract and decided to protect consumers from supply of food items such as fish and red meat that are not subjected to hygienic inspections. According to ONA, in its first meeting of the year Wednesday under the chairmanship of Eng. Abdullah bin Abbas bin Ahmed, President of the Muscat Municipality, the council also accepted the design and specifications of a proposed fishing harbour in the wilayat of A’Seeb, to be constructed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
