Royal Oman Police (ROP) officials have arrested 76 infiltrators for illegally entering the Sultanate of Oman through various governorates and regions, according to an ROP Public Relations Department official source.
He stated that 51 intruders had been detained in the Musandam Governorate, 24 in the Batinah region and 1 in Dhofar Governorate, Oman news agency reported Monday.
He added that 48 of these intruders were Pakistanis, 18 Afghans, 6 Iranians, 2 Bangladeshi and 1 Yemeni and Somali respectively. (Albawaba.com)
