Expanding economic cooperation and encouraging Chinese firms to invest in the Sultanate were among the topics discussed in a meeting Wednesday between the Omani trade mission led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim al Rowas, President of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Chinese Deputy Commerce Minister. According to ONA, the two sides discussed establishing basic norms for cooperation among the companies of the two countries, encouraging bilateral investments in oil, chemicals, roads, building materials and contracting and organising exhibitions.
