ALBAWABA - Israeli forces raid the Rafidya neighborhood in Nablus, killing one Palestinian with a bullet to the head and injuring two, one of them suffered from a critical injury and was moved to a hospital in Nablus.
During the early hours of the day, Israeli forces raided multiple spots across the West Bank city of Nablus, which sparked confrontations between Palestinian residents of the area and Israeli forces.
Later on, Israeli forces surrounded the house of the Palestinian prisoner Usama Tawil to have it demolished, which resulted in displacing his family who lived in it. The house resides in a 4-storey building with a space of 150 square meters.
Tawil was arrested back in February after he was charged with killing an Israeli soldier in Nablus.
The Red Crescent crews treated 170 suffocation cases on the ground as Israeli forces fired tear gas bombs at Palestinians. They also reported that ambulance vehicles were struck with tear gas which hampered their rescue efforts.
With the killing of Tawil, the Israeli army has now killed 161 Palestinians, including 26 children, in the West Bank and Gaza Strip since the beginning of the year.
