An Iraqi opposition group said in Vienna Sunday that the Iraqi government has offered Palestinians the right to join the police academy in Baghdad, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), quoting a statement.
The supreme council for the Islamic revolution in Iraq said in a statement that such a measure indicates an Iraqi bid to join the Middle East settlement process and normalize relations with Israel.
The statement added that this step should urge Israel to mediate better relations with the US administration.
The statement further indicated that many young Palestinians have joined the academy with the approval of the Iraqi interior ministry, KUNA said - Albawaba.com
