Palestinian Security Sources said late Tuesday that the Israeli forces arrested on the same night a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council near Ashdod in south Palestine. They declined to disclose the name of the lawmaker, who is said to have carried a gun when he was apprehended.
Meanwhile, the sources said that an Israeli soldier was killed and nine injured when their military vehicle turned over near the town of Anata.
