Palestinian protestors burned to the ground on Monday evening five Israeli factories on the Green Line, which separates the Palestinians territories from Israel, according to a well-informed Palestinian source, who also said that groups of demonstrators stormed and liberated a Jewish religious site in Nablus.

In a phone interview with Albawaba.com, member of the Palestinian legislature Hassan Khreisha said that Palestinians in the town of Tulkarem set ablaze Gashori agricultural products factory, in addition to other four including a gas, a fiber glass and a cardboard plants.

Khreisha added that the young men used bulldozers they found at the site to demolish a fifth factory under construction.

According to the parliamentarian, the factories were moved from Israel following an Israeli court ruling, residents of the area protested because the installation caused much environment and health hazzard.

“The locals, of whom many had cancers and other serious diseases, tried all legal ways to remove the factories from their area but to no avail,” said the deputy, who is a physician, citing studies.

Meanwhile, Khreisha said that Palestinian protestors in Nablus stormed and liberated Joseph Tomb, a Jewish religious site the Israeli insisted to keep after the city was handed over to the Palestinians in accordance with the interim accords.

“The residents of Balata Camp near Nablus are now at the site after they kicked out the Israeli soldiers from the tomb,” added the politicians.
