Promethean Group Announces New Board Appointments

The Board of Chalkfree Limited (the principal company in the Promethean Group) today announces that Dante Roscini and Philip Rowley have been appointed Non Executive Directors.

Dante (aged 51) is a Senior Lecturer in the Business, Government and the International Economy Unit at Harvard Business School, a position he has held since September 2008. Dante holds a summa cum laude Laurea degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Rome and an MBA from Harvard. He started his career as a Project Manager before joining Goldman Sachs, where he was Head of European Capital Markets from 1988 to 1998. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1999, where he became Head of Global Equity Capital Markets. In 2005, he joined Morgan Stanley where he was Country Head of Italy and Chairman of European Capital Markets, becoming a board director of Morgan Stanley International Bank. Married with 2 children, he lives in Boston, Massachusetts.

Philip (aged 57) is a non-executive director of ARM Holdings plc, HMV Group plc and Misys plc and was previously a non-executive director at Tradus plc. He was with AOL Europe from 2001 to 2007, where he became Chairman and CEO.  He joined Kingfisher plc as Group Finance Director of Kingfisher in 1998 and left in 2001. For ten years before that, Philip was based in New York, and was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EMI Music Worldwide for six years, and later became COO and CFO of Golden Books. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick in 1976. Married with two children, he lives in Berkshire, England.
