As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the ties it holds with university graduates in Jordan, PWC Logistics held a seminar at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) on the role of Information Technology in the private sector, specifically in the field of logistics.
The seminar was conducted by a group of experts in the fields of IT and logistics and included Mr. Hani Rabie, Country Manager of PWC Logistics in Jordan, Mr. Nadeem Abboud, PWC Logistics University Director in Kuwait and Mr. Alaa Mattar, Head of the PWC IT Integration Unit.
The event, which was the first of its kind to be organized by PWC Logistics, was attended by business professionals from private and public sector in Jordan along with university students and professors. The seminar included a series of lectures on supply chain management; IT integrated operations adopted at PWC Logistics, and services offered by the company to the Jordanian market.
Mr. Hani Rabie, Country Manager of PWC Logistics in Jordan stated, “We aim to build awareness on the use of IT and the role of IT experts within the private sector industry. PWC Logistics is a prime example on how IT plays a pivotal role in providing efficient, effective and accurate services for optimal productivity. Mr. Rabie added that the firm holds strong ties with several market leaders in the field of Information Technology that include Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and Oracle amongst others. PSUT was chosen as a venue for this event since it is a center for technological excellence, especially given that it is specialized in the fields of technology and communications.” he explained.
