QPC today announced that it has completed an agreement with the ICMI, that will mean that it will be the sole provider of the ICMI's contact centre training courses in the Middle East region. Starting in September, QPC will provide public courses for contact centre staff at locations in Dubai and Kuwait as well as private courses on site for individual businesses.

ICMI training provides all contact centre professionals, from front line agents to executives, with skills to improve service levels, increase employee engagement and raise the overall value of the contact centre in an organisation.

Commenting on the value of the courses Ashogan Ramsammy, Regional Manager for QPC in the MEA, says; "With our comprehensive ICMI training course programme businesses can make sure that their staff have the skills they need to improve their contact centres. What's more, individuals can show that they have completed some of the most highly regarded training in the industry, to support their career development."

Talking about the agreement ICMI's Strategic Training Director, Linda Riggs, says; "We have been working with QPC to deliver exceptional training for over 18 years and we are delighted that they will now be the only partner working with us in the Middle East."

The ICMI courses can be taken in isolation or combined to form training that will support an individual's career development; "We've created learning tracks for managers, supervisors and agents around the ICMI courses so that individuals can see which courses will meet their needs now and how we will support them as their contact centre career develops," says Ramsammy. Speaking about the broader issues around skills in the region he concludes; "Everyone I speak to from both business and government says that improving skills is essential if our region is to grow in the future. Delivering the ICMI courses here is another part of what we are doing to help address this crucial issue with practical solutions."
