Rally Al Khaleej 2005, the Middle East’s first classic car rally, will take place in March 2005 starting from Abu Dhabi in the UAE and under the patronage of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Interior, organisers announced Sunday. Crossing a distance of more than 1000 miles across the UAE and Oman, the event will be one of the most interesting, diversified, and challenging vintage car rallies in the world.
Organised by Abu Dhabi-based ARGER Event and Conference Management in
coordination with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Rally Al Khaleej 2005 will start and end in Abu Dhabi and will cover a total of six stages over eleven days, where participants will drive through the streets of a number of cities including Liwa, Al Ain, Muscat, Fujeirah, and Dubai.
