Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben Ami will meet Saturday evening with two top Palestinian negotiators, Israeli public and military radios said Saturday.
The reports said Ben Ami and Gilad Sher, cabinet director for Israel's caretaker Prime Minister Ehud Barak, will meet with senior Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat and Colonel Mohammed Dahlan, the head of preventative security for the Gaza Strip.
Ben Ami held a meeting late Thursday in Gaza City with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, in the highest level Israeli-Palestinian meeting in two and a half months.
Israeli military radio said the Saturday evening meeting sought to set up negotiations ahead of a possible summit between Arafat and Barak -- JERUSALEM (AFP)
