Libya is showing interest in purchasing arms and ammunition from Pakistan, said Iran News Agency (IRNA), quoting a report published by the Karachi-based English daily Dawn Sunday.
IRNA added that the daily said that a list of the arms produced at Pakistan Ordnance Factory in Wah town near Islamabad, has already been presented to Libyan authorities.
The report also said that ways of bilateral cooperation between the two countries would be discussed at the Pakistan-Libya Joint Ministerial Commission, to be held in Islamabad, in the near future.
Quoting official sources in the Pakistani capital, the report said issues of joint ventures in arms manufacture, training of Libyan army, navy and air force officials, and supply of rations, uniforms and shoes for the Libyan armed forces would also be taken up at the meeting - Albawaba.com
