ALBAWABA- Tensions escalated dramatically across the northern front as Israeli media reported sightings of gliders in the skies over the Upper Galilee. Residents were instructed to remain indoors amidst concerns of an air infiltration operation.

However, the Israeli military clarified that while they are following up on the reports, there is currently no immediate security threat. This incident coincides with intense Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon.

According to the Israeli army, 100 air force fighters targeted 120 Hezbollah positions across Majdal Silm, Barish, and Kafr Dunin.

In retaliation, Hezbollah launched a massive missile barrage toward towns north of Haifa, marking a serious escalation.

The confrontation also aligns with the anniversary of the October 7 attack last year by Al-Qassam. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the ongoing wars in Gaza and Lebanon are aimed at preventing a repeat of the violence from that day.

In a related event, fragments from intercepted missiles caused a fire in the northern settlement of Kiryat Shmona. Meanwhile, a hypersonic missile launched by the Houthis struck Tel Aviv, forcing the suspension of flights at Ben Gurion Airport.

Hezbollah also launched multiple missiles at Haifa and other Galilee settlements, further intensifying the conflict.
