Dubai's Victory Heights welcomed 400 guests to a lavish Ramadan Suhour at The Els Club, which lies at the heart of the luxury golfing development, to celebrate both the holy month and the success the community has seen in the delivery and completion of villas in the past year.
Guests included families and friends of Victory Heights who enjoyed a hot and cold buffet of traditional Arabic food, henna painting and entertainment with music from the oud in a specially erected Ramadan tent decorated for the occasion.
"Victory Heights was thrilled to host a Suhour for all our residents and friends in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. We are committed to fostering a strong community spirit within the development and hope that everyone who attended enjoyed the evening and took the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends," said Talal Chihabi Head of Sales, Marketing, Customer Services and PR, Victory Heights.
The event was also used to celebrate the achievements the luxury golfing development has made in the past year. Since last Ramadan 400 further properties have been handed over to homeowners, bringing the total number of villas occupied up from 200 to 600, giving the community a vibrant family-focused atmosphere.
A total of 75 percent of the community's 794 phase-one homes have now been complete with the final 25 percent on target for completion by the end of 2010. Villas in Victory Heights are built in three different styles; authentic Spanish Andalusian, bold Mediterranean, and classic European styles, with many boasting tranquil views of the golf course's fairways and lakes.
Just a stone's throw away is Dubai Sports City offering residents easy access to all its world-class amenities, including the International Cricket Stadium, where national and international cricket and football matches are played, as well as The Els Club and The Butch Harmon School of Golf where golfers of all levels and ages can practice their game. Five Sporting Academies are also set to open later this year offering world-class coaching to children of all ages in football, hockey, rugby, swimming and cricket.
