Rotana Appoints New Area Human Resources Director
for Dubai & Northern Emirates
The management of Rotana, the Middle East’s leading hospitality chain is happy to announce the appointment of Dr. Olga Kampaxi as the new Area Director of Human Resources for Dubai and Northern Emirates.
Originally from Greece, Olga possesses a strong background in psychology having earned her BA in Psychology in Athens and her Doctorate from the University of Bristol in UK. Her impressive and extensive working experience includes working for Aerospace, IT and Direct Marketing companies, as well as for the Olympic Games in Athens Greece back in 2004. She has also worked for the education sector before joining the hospitality industry. Working for diverse segments of the business world and a psychologist by education, her passion lies in people, geared towards maximizing the potential of each and every staff and understanding individual needs whilst balancing the interests of different parties.
Commenting on her appointment, Olga said, “I am very excited to be part of the Rotana and it is indeed an honour to be responsible in taking care of the employees of the region’s leading hospitality chain. Rotana treats its team members in an amazing way so this is a fantastic opportunity. I would like to unify the standards and practices across the Area and develop the team as well as expose our employees to new ideas and opportunities. Our nationals are also very important so we will be developing a plan for them very soon as well as benchmarking some of our practices against the competition.
