ALBAWABA - Russia claimed on Wednesday to control a new village in Ukraine, AFP reported.
According to Russia, the newly captured village is located in the Donetsk region, which was the first to fall in the hands of Russian forces since the announcement of Russian President Vladimir Putin the "special military operation" in Ukraine.
"Troops, supported by aviation and artillery fire, improved their positions along the front line and liberated the village of Artemovskoye," AFP added citing Russia's defence ministry.
