Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov is expected to visit Syria on Tuesday on the third leg of a Middle East tour, Russian embassy sources said earlier this week.
Ivanov will discuss with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad bilateral relations, the Middle East peace process, including the so-called “road map” for peace, and the situation in Iraq, sources told the Kuwait news agency.
On Wednesday, the Russian top diplomat is scheduled to visit Lebanon, and afterwards, Egypt. (Albawaba.com)
