Russian leader condemns Egypt terror attacks

The leader of the Russian Rodina (Motherland) party Alexander Babakov has strongly condemned Monday's night bombing attacks at the Egyptian resort city of Dahab. At least one Russian died and another was wounded in the deadly attacks, which killed 24 people and injured scores of others.

 

Firstly, Babakov conveyed his condolences to Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak in connection with the terrorist attacks in Dahab. The Russian party leader also emphasized that the "Russian nation was supporting the Egyptians in their just fight against terror."

 

“Wherever such heinous happen - in London, Cairo, Moscow or other countries, they should be categorically dennounced and all civilized nations must unite in the fight against terrorism and evil,” the popular political leader has said.

 

Babakov added the terrorists must be punished and even executed. He stressed the bombings in Egypt confirm that terrorism is an international problem and thus all democratic nations should consolidate efforts against terrorism.
