As part of its campaign to promote the recently released Champ handset, Samsung installed a demonstration booth at City Mall to provide shoppers with an overview of the phone's features.
The Champ is geared toward the youth demographic and is designed for those seeking a stylish touch-based handset that supports a multitude of applications and offered at a reasonable cost. The handset boasts a trendy, vibrant design, with luscious curves and a gorgeous 2.4 inch screen. It is also offered in multiple colors, including black, dark brown, pink, white, red and silver.
Music lovers will find the Champ's multimedia capabilities to be more than remarkable. The superior battery life allows for continuous music playback – an experience further accentuated by the possibility of obtaining 8GB of storage and the bundled headsets.
Samsung Levant President Sang Suk Roh explained that the company is committed to developing handsets that cater to the needs of various consumer segments and that the youth demographic is no exception. He added that the development team at Samsung took many elements into consideration when they devised the Champ concept, such as robust technologies like the touch interface and app support, together with the overall price of the handset.
The promotional campaign for the Champ will continue until mid October 2010.
