SAP today announced that it will be offering customers in the Middle East the opportunity to maximize their investment in SAP technology through a range of training courses, provided in collaboration with its Education Delivery Partner MESAP. The training curriculum has been designed to allow customers to exploit SAP systems to full advantage in order to help grow their businesses and gain competitive advantage.
As part of the partnership, SAP and MESAP will initially offer training courses at the world-class Etisalat academy in Dubai from February 2009. MESAP then plan to open an SAP training facility at their prestigious offices in the Qatar Science and Technology Park in Doha. In addition, MESAP will also support SAP in offering onsite training across the GCC region. SAP also plans to reinforce its commitment to delivering high quality, business-orientated training throughout the Middle East by offering additional training courses in conjunction with other strategic Education Delivery Partners.
“The rapid pace of change and need for businesses to maintain a competitive edge means that customers in the Middle East are keen to explore new and innovative business models and learn how technology can make their businesses more productive,” said Sergio Maccotta, Managing Director, SAP Middle East & North Africa. “To date much of the demand has been for customer-specific on-site training, but we are also seeing increased interest in a regular schedule of public training in the region. Together SAP and MESAP are able to offer international instructors of the highest quality and have years of experience of working with some of the most inspiring and successful organizations across the globe. Through the training on offer we will now be able to share these best practices and methodologies with more customers on a wider scale.”
Vasco Madeira, MD of MESAP commented: "MESAP consultants have gained extensive experience of training and consulting projects across EMEA over the last 15 years, and are in an excellent position to help deliver added value to SAP customers in the Gulf region. Our business analysts have nearly 400 years of SAP implementation, training and experience between them and have worked at the most senior levels of business. Our relationship with SAP is further testament to the huge potential of the Middle East, and we intend to help companies exploit business opportunities, build measurable ROI and take their natural place on the world stage."
