Saudi Crown prince Abdullah discussed bilateral relations and international developments with Sudanese President Omar Beshir by telephone Tuesday, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Issues connected with developments in the region and in the international arena as well as ways of strengthening bilateral relations were raised during the call, the agency said.
The conversation came amidst a political test of strength in Sudan between Beshir and veteran Hassan al-Turabi, said AFP.
Beshir visited Saudi Arabia in February, two months after striking his first blow against Turabi by dissolving parliament and thereby stripping him of his post as speaker, AFP said - (Agencies)
