Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal will start Saturday a tour that will take him to Tunisia and Morocco, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The foreign minister will hold talks with senior officials in the two countries to discuss the developments in the region.
Talks will also discuss Arab efforts to provide international protection for the Palestinians, said the agency.
AFP said that Tunisian foreign minister, Habib Ben Yahia, visited Riyadh last October where he delivered a letter from president Zine el Abidine Ben Ali to Saudi King Fahd. KUNA added that Prince Saud is expected to co-chair a Saudi-Moroccan joint committee meeting scheduled to be held in Rabat next Tuesday.
