schools out, summer camps in at kempinski hotel ajman

School is out for summer and the Kempinski Hotel Ajman is ensuring the season is full of fun and entertainment for children, with an action-packed summer camp which runs from 17 June to 24 August.

“As a popular family destination we are always looking for new and exciting ways to cater to all our guests, including the younger ones.  With our lovely beach, gardens, leisure facilities and Kempi Kids Club, the hotel is the perfect setting for an unforgettable summer camp” said Mr Ulrich Eckhardt, Managing Director of Kempinski Hotel Ajman and Senior Vice President Africa and Middle East of Kempinski Hotels.

Organized and fully supervised by the hotel’s Kempi Kids Club, the summer camp is open for children between the ages of 3 to 12 Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 2pm.  To keep things exciting, the fun and educational activities change on a daily basis and include swimming lessons, games, sports, songs, practical lessons, art and challenging competitions.

Children can learn a range of new and interesting skills such as beading, painting, memory games, simple cooking, golfing, treasure hunting, beach Olympics, table tennis, drama and clay moulding.  Thursday’s bring a special treat with kid’s movie night showing a selection of favourites from 7pm-9pm.

Whilst the children are enjoying summer camp, mums and dads can relax at the Laguna Beach Club, be pampered at the Laguna Spa or Softouch Spa, or enjoy lunch with friends in any of the hotels four dining outlets.   Furthermore, on Thursdays they will be able to enjoy a romantic dinner at one of the Hotels’ restaurants.

“Our goal has always been to create the complete leisure experience for the entire family. With our new summer camp concept we give parents an opportunity to spend some quality and relaxing time on their own, completely confident that their children will be taken care of and having a great time” added Eckhardt.

Summer camp bookings can be made 24 hours in advance for daily, weekly and monthly programs with fees ranging from AED 110 for a day pass to AED 1,500 for a month. A minimum of four children is required to operate the camp and lunch is included in the fee.

Located just 25 km from the Dubai International Airport and about 15 km from the Sharjah International Airport, Kempinski Hotel Ajman is the perfect summer destination with 183 rooms and suites all offer a panoramic sea view, a flat screen TV, safe, hairdryer, in-room bar and individual temperature controlled air-conditioning.

For families that want to vacation in Ajman, the hotel is offering attractive summer room rates of AED 569 for single or AED 669 for double deluxe room Sunday to Wednesday and 845 for a single and AED 945 for double Thursday to Saturday.
