Hill & Knowlton, one of the world’s leading communications consultancies, today announced an exclusive strategic affiliation agreement with iRelations, a leading Jordanian PR and communications consultancy. This association has been established to meet the growing demand for world class communications solutions from Jordanian organizations and companies and the increasing number of multinational organizations that are now operating in the Kingdom.
“We are very proud to be signing this agreement with Hill & Knowlton,” said Karim Mardam-Bey, managing director of iRelations. “The public relations and communications industry in Jordan has witnessed phenomenal growth over the last few years with more and more companies recognizing the importance of communicating regularly, transparently and effectively with their internal and external stakeholders.”
Khaled Tabbaa, managing partner of iRelations, went on to say: “Through this strategic agreement with Hill & Knowlton, we have partnered with one of the world’s best communications consultancies, which will no doubt introduce a higher level of expertise to the local market, in addition to benefiting our clients substantially by combining international best practices with local understanding.”
Dave Robinson, Hill & Knowlton’s CEO for the Middle East, commented: “Jordan is witnessing a transformation in terms of the economy and its development, making it an increasingly important Middle East market with many of our regional and international clients looking more closely at opportunities in the Kingdom.”
“We have had a limited presence in Jordan for some years now and felt that this is the right time to expand our offer through a strategic partnership with iRelations. We have been impressed with the company's enthusiasm and passion for public relations matched with a strategic approach to campaign planning and delivery. I am confident we can build on this partnership with the iRelations team to complement the existing H&K brand in Jordan and offer clients a best of breed solution for their communications needs in the Kingdom,” added Robinson.
Hill & Knowlton’s existing representative in Amman, Dana Huraimi, will continue to directly represent Hill & Knowlton in Jordan and will work from the iRelations offices and work closely with the iRelations team on client assignments and new opportunities.
The iRelations and Hill & Knowlton affiliation will combine specialist practice expertise (technology, healthcare, corporate, marketing, financial and internal communications), tailored strategic counsel, a powerful international network, integrated creative, training and the management of global solutions across a broad spectrum of sectors.
