The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns have reached a deal in principle that would send Shaquille O’Neal to the Eastern Conference. The Suns will get Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, and a second round draft pick in exchange for the veteran center.
The Cavaliers were looking for support for the reigning MVP Lebron James, providing seven feet of power to James’ shooting guard threat in the backcourt. The Lebron- Shaq combo will look to bring the city of Cleveland its first sports championship in 45 years.
