Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum urged citizens on Saturday to build on the progress achieved in the last 30 years under the wise leadership of President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and to use all available capabilities to accomplish further economic, social, political and educational advances.
Sheikh Mohammad, who is also the Emirates’ defense minister, said that the UAE had accomplished various achievements in all aspects of life and provided a secure, decent and free life to its citizens over the past 30 years, according to the Emirates' official news agency (WAM).
He called on the people of the UAE to continue their progress in all walks of life starting from the economic, scientific, technical and intellectual fields, asking them to “look forward to a brighter future and build a society capable of catching up with the changes of the new era.”
According to Sheikh Mohammad, the new trend is to establish vital projects relying on the skills and capabilities of UAE citizens to create a balanced society characterized by Arab and Islamic values and the pursuit of a life of comfort and honor.
