Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi attends end of academic year celebration at Masafi Boys School

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, son of Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the annual school event held to celebrate the conclusion of the academic year at the Masafi Boys School for Basic and Secondary Education.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud was accorded a warm reception by the school authorities and students with a performance by the RAK Police band.  He viewed an exhibition of paintings by students and another exhibition featuring antique items collected from the Masafi area and old photographs depicting UAE life.

He was accompanied by Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Office Manager of Ras Al Khaimah Crown Prince, Mohammed Al Khait, Advisor at the Ras Al Khaimah Ruler’s Court and Abdullah Hammad Al Shehi, Director of RAK Educational Zone

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud honoured outstanding students who excelled in academic and extracurricular activities during the academic year. He also gave away awards to teachers and parents who helped the school to perform better in academic and co- curricular activities. Students later staged a variety of music and dance performances as part of the celebration. 

Abdullah Hammad Al Shehi, Director of RAK Educational Zone said, “The end of academic year celebration offers an opportunity to take stock of the milestones achieved in the academic year as well as to identify areas for improvement for the school in the future.” He also thanked the students, teachers and parents for their cooperation for making the academic year a productive and a rewarding one.

Rashid Mohammed Ali Al Dinki, Principal of Masafi Boys School for Basic and Secondary Education and Khalfan Al Naqbi, Vice Principal of the school, spoke at the function.
