Sheikh Mohammed Hails Participants of International Youth Summit

Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defense Minister General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met Friday with ninety members of the International Youth Summit representing 15 different countries.  

 

They had spent ten days in the United Arab Emirates as guests of the Dubai Department of Naturalization and Residency. 

 

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed praised the youth, and described them as "ambassadors of peace and love to their nations, who are trying to extend civilization, cultural and humanitarian bridges between each other", according to Gulf News

 

Sheikh Mohammed added that such international gatherings would contribute extremely to reduce distances between countries, and help exchange knowledge and learn cultures and traditions of other societies, the goals which "we are trying to achieve in the UAE through festivals and international gatherings".
