Sheikh Zayed Meets With Jordan’s King Abdullah II

UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan held talks in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday at the Al Bahr Palace with Jordan’s King Abdullah II.  

 

During their discussions, the two leaders reviewed the appalling conditions of the Palestinian people. Efforts to revive the peace process and ultimately end the Israeli occupation were also discussed, according to WAM. 

 

The two leaders explored means of arriving at a common Arab consensus on ways to support the just cause of the Palestinian people.  

 

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and a number of other Sheikhs.  

 

Also attending from the Jordanian side were Prince Ali bin Hussein and Prime Minister Ali Abu Al Ragheb. (Albawaba.com)
