Two Israelis, a male and female, were killed Friday night after shots were fired at their car near the West Bank settlement of Meitar.
The car was found near a village located south of Hebron. The shots were apparently fired from a passing car, which fled the scene, Haaretz rported. As a result of the shots fired, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and the car overturned.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command on Saturday claimed the attscks, saying it was carried out in response to "Israeli crimes".
Earlier Friday, a suicide bomber blew himself up near an Israeli military outpost close to the Kfar Darom settlement, in the Gaza Strip. The bomber was killed, and no other injuries were reported in the incident.
The bomber, whose explosive device apparently detonated prematurely due to a technical malfunction, had approached the outpost on bicycle. The bomber was dispatched by Islamic Jihad. (Albawaba.com)
