ALBAWABA - At least one person was injured in a building collapse in southern Tel Aviv, Israeli media reported Wednesday.
A person was injured in the partial collapse of a six-story building south of Tel Aviv.
Emergency services received a report on Wednesday about the incident and rushed to the location to determine whether people were trapped under the rubble or simply inaccessible.
Israel's emergency services said paramedics provided medical care to one moderately injured woman at the scene.
Magen David Adom, Israel's National Emergency Services, wrote, "At 12:35, a report was received at MDA's 101 call center in the Dan region regarding a collapse in a building on Merhavia Street in Tel Aviv. MDA paramedics and EMTs are currently treating one injured person in moderate condition. Searches are being conducted at the scene to locate additional casualties."
