Sony Ericsson recently announced the availability of the new Z300i, an elegant clamshell phone, in the Middle East market. The Z300i is a small and chic clamshell phone that will suit an individual’s need for style.

"Another new addition to the trendy list of Sony Ericsson phones is the Z300i. It is a small and elegant clamshell phone for people who wants style with easy calling and texting capabilities. Its front and back covers are also easily changeable so you can match it with your mood or outfits,” says Husni El-Assi, General Manager of Sony Ericsson, Middle East and Africa.

Answering a call is as easy as flipping the clam open. The external screen flashes the caller information and when not in use, displays a clock. Open the clam and it reveals a bright, sharp 65,536-colour screen and a surprisingly large keypad. It also features a navigation key that reaches all the main functions in one click. For easier reading, you can change the font size.

The Z300i’s focus is on voice and text, but it also offers conference calls, phone book, calendar, reminders and alarm clock. It is WAP 1.2.1 ready and can be connected via GPRS and RS323 cable supports. Consumers can also personalise their phones with the Style-Up™ covers available from accessory outlets and with the use of Crystal Décor included in every box.
