ALBAWABA- Reports have emerged of sound bomb attacks targeting foreign restaurants in Baghdad, specifically a branch of the KFC chain. The attack is allegedly linked to KFC's perceived support for Israeli actions in Gaza, which has led to widespread boycotts in many Islamic countries, resulting in significant financial losses for the company.
In response to the attack, the Joint Operations Command has ordered the complete closure of all entrances and exits to the Karrada area in Baghdad. Traffic on the Al-Jumhuriya Bridge has also been halted as part of the security measures.
The closure of Karrada and several other areas of the capital is accompanied by a heavy security presence, highlighting the impact of the terrorist attack on the city's security, economy, and foreign investments.
