Source set for Middle East expansion
Source-People Ltd, providing specialist professional recruitment solutions to the global oil & gas and affiliated industries, plan to further expand Source’s international presence by establishing an office in Doha, Qatar by the end of 2008, following the successful opening of their new Houston office earlier this year.
Source directors Pauline Redpath and David Priestley will attend major oil shows, Offshore Middle East (OME) 08 and the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) 08, to help establish an increased presence in the area.

Both new locations provide us with a greatly enhanced presence in prominent oil & gas regions across the world.”
As a leading global recruiter Source has secured a session within the ADIPEC conference programme to present a paper on effective recruitment strategies in a short skills market.
“Talent shortages is something which is increasingly impacting organisations on a global scale and the gulf region is no exception,” added Pauline Redpath. “With the frantic pace of growth in the energy and banking sectors we have seen escalated demand for engineers and finance professionals. The region has experienced significant salary rises as companies compete for the best people. However they are also having to consider additional strategies and practices to attract and retain key staff.”
One of the largest petroleum shows in the world, ADIPEC 08 will be staged at the brand new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between 3-6 November.
