Twenty five year old mega-star Melanie B told the Mirror newspaper that she felt ''vulnerable and alone'' after her split with dancer Jimmy Gulzar, 31, father of her 18-month-old daughter Phoenix Chi, according to ABC online.
"I spent a lot of time on my own, meditating, just trying to keep grounded and get through it,'' she told the Mirror.
"Breaking up was hard because we so wanted to be a happy family.''
Mel B, also known as Scary Spice and whose real name is Melanie Brown, said she has also started to build bridges with her former Spice Girl colleague Geri Halliwell.
"I bumped into her the other week at a health club and it was genuinely nice to see her. We chatted about old times. She was sweet and nice,'' she said.
"When people say we're big enemies they forget that we used to be so close. But sadly our friendship did fizzle out a bit when Geri went off to do her own thing. Who knows, maybe we'll be friends again,'' she added.
Mel B, who grew up in Leeds, West Yorkshire, also revealed that she had found love again with actor Max Beesley, 29, star of the BBC series "Tom Jones.''
"Max is lovely, he's great,'' she said.
"He's a northern bloke and I'm a northern bird, so we've got a lot in common,'' she added-Albawaba.com.
