“With reference to the recent report on diamond trade published today (Tuesday, June 1, 2010) in Bloomberg, Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC, denies categorically making any comments to Bloomberg regarding promoting tolerance between Jews and Arabs. He added that his other comments with regard to trade were taken out of context and referred to India not Israel. The interview was conducted on April 25, 2010, when Mr Bin Sulayem discussed the role of Dubai Diamond Exchange in promoting diamond trade through Dubai.”
