LG Electronics introduces air conditioner with advanced clean air technology specifically designed for the region
LG Electronics, the world’s leading innovator of home appliances, launched its new wall mounted air conditioner, Titan, at Sahara centre in Sharjah. Titan features the world’s first cyclotron plasma and twin cooling technologies.
Designed especially for use in high temperature countries such as the UAE and Middle East, the launch of Titan air conditioners is the result of customer needs across the region for faster, more efficient cooling and healthier indoor air circulation.
“Research shows that air quality is a major concern for people in the UAE and this is one of the reasons that led to the development of the Titan range,” said H. S. Paik, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE. “The Titan air conditioner has been designed with technology not only to cool rooms rapidly but also to cleanse the air by absorbing any sand particles, pollutants and allergens assuring residents of a safe, clean and healthy living environment.”
To guarantee air purification, LG has invested in the world’s first cyclotron plasma technology which improves dust absorption by up to 30 per cent compared to a conventional plasma kit. And, with LG’s innovative filtration system, the Titan air conditioner is able to reduce allergens by as much as 70 per cent. To do this, an antibacterial pre-filter first reduces pollens, mould and large dust particles from the air. A triple filter then reduce symptoms associated with exposure to various organic compounds including formaldehyde and as a final step, a Nano Carbon filter traps fine odorous particles to completely remove odors from the home.
Titan’s Dynamic Double Vane technology uses two wide vanes that direct air across an area up to 10 meters. This eliminates air conditioning dead zones helping to maintain an even temperature throughout the room.
For larger rooms, customers have the option of placing an additional LG developed circulator or air cooling unit to offer twin cooling. When positioned on the wall across the main cooling unit, the second unit helps cool larger rooms up to 40 percent faster and 70 percent more evenly. The circulator also humidifies dry air owing to its water plasma technology which uses sterilised and bacteria-free water.
Another key feature of LG’s new Titan AC is its multiple swing modes which can be set to sweep air across a room in several different directions including seven vertical and five horizontal adjustment modes as well as left and right full swing options. This improves comfort levels by redirecting airflow to prevent it from blowing directly on family members and guests.
Other features include an auto alarm for filter cleaning, a remote control with wide display, one touch function and a stylish exterior design that boasts interior lighting and artistic patterns.
The Titan air conditioner is now available at all Al-Yousuf showrooms across the UAE.
