The Stevie® Awards, the world’s premier business awards competitions, have called for entries for the 7th annual International Business Awards, which honor achievements in the workplace worldwide, from the executive suite to the factory floor.
The International Business Awards are the only global, independent business awards program. All organizations worldwide may participate - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The entry deadline is 12 May. Late entries will be accepted through 9 June, and results will be announced in early July. Entry details are available at www.stevieawards.com/iba.
The 2010 awards will be presented this fall in Istanbul, Turkey and will recognize work since January 1, 2009.
Entries may be submitted in multiple languages and are accepted in various categories ranging from Executive of the Year and Most Innovative Company of the Year to Human Resources Department of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year. New language-specific judging committees have been added to encourage organizations around the world to submit entries to the IBAs in their own languages.
Rory J. Cowan, Chairman and CEO of Lionbridge, is the honorary chairperson for all IBA judging in 2010. Seven senior-level executives will chair language-specific judging committees for Awards. They are: Chinese (Fredy Bush, Chairman and CEO, Xinhua Sports & Entertainment Limited, Beijing, China); French (Paula Shannon, Chief Sales Officer, Senior VP & General Manager, Lionbridge, Montreal, Canada); German (Heiko Hubertz, CEO and Founder, Bigpoint GmbH, Hamburg, Germany); Korean (Yoon Eun-Key, President, Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies (aSSIST), Seoul, South Korea); Japanese (Hironori Aihara, Chairman, Transcutaneous Technologies Inc., Tokyo, Japan); Portuguese (Valéria Perito, CEO, Ketchum Estratégia, Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Spanish (Luis Miguel Peña, Director of Corporate & Litigation Communications, LLORENTE & CUENCA, Madrid, Spain).
New categories in 2010 include 13 Communications or PR Campaign of the Year categories, 33 industry-specific categories for advertising campaigns, 33 industry-specific categories for web sites and blogs, and two new Marketing Campaign of the Year categories, among others.

The 6th Annual International Business Awards were presented in September 2009 in New York City to organizations from 27 nations including ASDA'A Burson Marsteller – the Dubai-based public relations consultancy; Bank of Montreal, Core Spirit, Gameforce AG, The Procter & Gamble Company, Turk Telekom, Wipro Ltd. and Xinhua Sports & Entertainment Limited.
