ALBAWABA - Deaths and injuries in a bombing by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeting the city of Umm Rawaba in North Kordofan, local Sudanese sources reported on Tuesday.

Sudan Tribune announced days ago citing sources that the Sudanese Armed Forces, led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, retook control of Umm Rawaba city in North Kordofan.

SAF uncontrolled the city after it was taken by the Rapid Support Forces ahead of the start of the Sudanese civil war on April 15, 2023.

Sudanese army was advancing further in the capital Khartoum, potentially shifting the momentum of the conflict.

Videos were posted on army social media platforms showing soldiers celebrating in Um Rawaba, greeted by residents.
