The Sudanese opposition congress on Sunday announced intentions to extend date and venue of their dialogue conference, called for by a joint Libyan-Egyptian initiative for a political solution with the government, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Committee chairman Adam Mousa Madiu told KUNA in statements that "the committee would hold an important a meeting designed to discuss trends and final draft concerning the reply on inquiries included in the initiative."

He said the recommendations would be then raised to the command of the congress inside Sudan to endorse it as a basis for their national dialogue with the government.

He stressed that the congress would be ready to hold the dialogue conference with the government when its date was agreed upon, KUNA added.

He hoped that both sides would make use of the political relaxation with neighboring countries, according to the agency -
