Suicide belts, weapons and explosives found in Ben Guerdane, Tunisia

The Interior Ministry announced, Saturday, that a cache of munitions and explosives was discovered in the rural area of Ben Guerdane (governorate of Medenine).

Four suicide belts, 31 explosive devices, 9 blocks of explosive matter TNT, 2 Kalashnikov magazines and 9 mobile phones modified to initiate explosions remotely, were found in the cache.

Several weapons caches were discovered during combing operations conducted after March 7 attack in Ben Guerdane.

Anti-aircraft missiles, Kalashnikovs, automatic weapons, electro-muscular disruption devices (tasers) and grenades were notably found.
