ALBAWABA- A suicide bombing in Kabul has claimed the lives of six people, including women, and left 13 others wounded, according to the Taliban-run Afghanistan Ministry of Interior.
The attacker detonated explosives in front of the Public Prosecution Office in the Afghan capital, causing significant casualties.
In recent months, Afghanistan has witnessed a series of deadly suicide attacks. On July 30, 2024, a suicide bomber struck a political rally in Khost province, resulting in at least 12 deaths and over 30 injuries.
The attack was reportedly linked to escalating tensions between local political factions. Later, on August 27, 2024, another suicide bombing occurred in Kabul, this time targeting a military convoy.
The explosion claimed the lives of 8 Afghan soldiers and left 15 others injured. This attack was claimed by a militant group opposing the Taliban's rule, further highlighting the ongoing instability in the country.
