21-year-old Tunisian, Amani Swisi, has lost in the recent final showdown of “Star Academy 2005.” The realty TV show began some three months ago and the winner was the Saudi Hisham Abdul Rahman.
The final included an evening of classic Arabian songs, at the end of which the votes were tallied and the winner was announced. The Saudi gained 51 percent.
It should be noted that the first Tunisia lady, Leïla Ben Ali, sent a bouquet of flowers to the Tunisian representative for the occasion. Public operator Tunisia Telecom has reducing 70% of the cost of SMS to encourage the public to vote for Swisi.
