Symbol Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:SBL), the enterprise mobility company™, has announced that a suite of products to drive the adoption of enterprise mobility in the region will be unveiled at Gitex 2006, the Middle East’s leading technology show.
New product line enhancements include the WT4000 series of wearable mobile computers and scanner systems for high-performance computing in extreme environments; handheld digital imager scanner designed for bar code scanning and image capture in a multitude of environments and wireless switch and access points, mobile handheld devices, scanners and MSPs (management tool for handheld devices and wireless networks). The company will also highlight its RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) solutions and demonstrate the various applications of this technology.

Along with its channel partners, Symbol will also demonstrate various applications like retail inventory management, warehouse management, and sales automation for distribution companies. The company aims to further develop its channel centric strategy and is targeting vertical markets like transportation and logistics, distribution, oil and gas, utilities, healthcare and aviation.
