Syria's Vice-President Abdul Halim Khaddam received on Thursday an Iraqi delegation representing Islamic Movement of Iraqi Turkmen, the Iraqi Turkmani Front and Chieftains of the Turkmani Tribes.
The Iraqi delegation briefed Khaddam on the suffering of the Iraqi people and the challenges that threaten Iraq’s unity and integrity, asserting the necessity for saving the Iraqi unity and integrity, SANA reported.
Khaddam stressed Syria’s interest in maintaining the Iraqi unity, integrity and independence.
