SYSTIMAX Solutions, the worldwide leader in structured connectivity solutions for organizations, won the award for “Outstanding Innovation in Cabling” at the inaugural Network Middle East Innovation Awards that were announced Sunday 12th June.

The award was accepted by Matias Peluffo, Director, Global Technical Support and International Standardization, SYSTIMAX Solutions. “This award validates the SYSTIMAX Solutions approach to product development, which is to commit significant resources to our research and development efforts” he said. “The Innovation Award recognizes our company’s continuous efforts to push the boundaries of structured cabling performance.

The awards ceremony, which took place at Dubai’s Shangri-La Hotel, was held alongside the BICSI Middle East & Africa conference, and was attended by senior network and IT professionals from across the region.
SYSTIMAX Solutions launched its complete, end-to-end UTP cabling technology capable of supporting 10 Gb/s at the end of 2004. The company believes the GigaSPEED X10D Solution is the first complete solution that fully meets the latest IEEE 802.3an specifications for 10GBASE-T as well as the proposed TIA and ISO/IEC specifications for Category 6A/ New Class E.
