TASWEEK Real Estate Development and Marketing, an advisor and solutions provider serving the Middle East real estate markets, recently explored the property and financial markets of Singapore and Malaysia to assess business opportunities and local market trends.
TASWEEK CEO Masood Al Awar met with Singaporean and Malaysian banks and finance houses involved in real estate to gain more insights on their financing schemes. The trip affirmed the sustainable growth of the property sectors of both Singapore and Malaysia. The Malaysian market has been experiencing a property upsurge particularly in its high-end residential segment due to the availability of cheap financing, new launches, favorable regulations and enticing promotions. The Singaporean market has also proven to be robust, with new home sales exceeding previous forecasts despite the impending imposition of a capital gains tax.
"Our recent Asian discussions and observations proved that cheap financing is vital to ensuring the availability and sustainability of property returns and opportunities. Singapore and Malaysia both have various channels to fund property and so their real estate sector has continued to be productive despite the global crisis. We intend to adopt elements of the financing strategies we have witnessed in both countries to secure even better business for our company in 2011," said Masood.
The financing model employed by TASWEEK aims to achieve a combination of timeliness and speed, cost, and quality. Its mortgage financing options are aimed at leveraging the UAE's lucrative mortgage market which is currently valued at around AED 50 billion. The options include better interest rates, consolidation of debts into a single loan, a reduced monthly repayment amount, reduced or altered risk, and freeing up cash. This range of financing sources makes relatively inexpensive rates possible. TASWEEK ensures that each real estate transaction is highly transparent and able to elicit a high degree of trust and credibility.
TASWEEK Real Estate Development and Marketing has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the MENA real estate sector. Its business activities include Purchase and Sale of Strategic Assets; Asset Management; Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances; and Marketing Consultancy. The company commenced commercial activities in 2009 and achieved a 5 per cent increase in shareholders' equity at the end of the same year.
