The traditional Thai festival of floating bowls, which is intended to bring good luck, has inspired the menu at Taste Thai Restaurant during November, while Swaad Restaurant will offer a feast of Mughlai food in the heritage of the Mughals.
To celebrate Loy Krathong, Le Méridien Al Aqah’s Thai Chef de Cuisine, Praiwan Sriplai, has created a set menu called Khan Tok priced at AED 360 for two people. Khan Tok is a northern style of food preparation which features a combination of salad, curry, rice and vegetables served together in a basket tray. The offer will be available from November 1 to November 15.
Swaad Restaurant will recreate the magic of India’s royal Nawabi era, with a tempting selection of Mughlai food. Mughlai food is famous for its exquisite presentation, ambrosial and delectable taste, The special menu, priced affordably from AED 40, includes shorbas, kebabs, curries, pulaos, and desserts.
Swaad Restaurant and Taste Thai Restaurant are both open daily for dinner from 7:00pm to 10:30pm.
Views restaurant continues its international evenings throughout November. Starting at 7pm, diners can choose from Festa Italiana on Saturdays, Asian Breeze on Sundays, Tour de France on Mondays, Locavores on Tuesdays, and Mexicana on Wednesdays – all priced at AED 175 and including a refreshing selection of beverages. The Thursday menu, Taste of Arabia, and the Friday menu, Sea View are priced at AED 215 per person.
Views restaurant is also offering a value-packed Friday lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, priced at AED 199 including pool and beach access.
Gonu Bar and Grill, on the shores of the resort’s private beach, is open daily offering lunch from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and dinner from 7:00pm to midnight. The chefs can also create a moonlight dinner under the stars, priced at AED 800 per couple including special beverages.
And for more private dining, hotel guests can enjoy the convenience of dining in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms through the 24-hour In Room Dining service, which features a range of international cuisines.
Astro’s, the 20th floor bar with a spectacular view of the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean, is an ideal venue for after work-beverages. Astro’s is open from 7:00pm to 1:00am, from Saturday to Wednesday, and from 7:00pm to 2:00am on Thursdays and Fridays. Happy hour is from 9:00pm to 10:00pm daily.
Tea & Dates, the hotel’s stylish lobby lounge, features an assortment pastries, fresh croissants, sandwiches, salads, dates, and delectable cakes, complemented by the finest hot and cold beverages, including a signature coffee menu. It is open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
