Two Turkish soldiers and once police officer were killed on Tuesday by Kurdish militants after attempting to cross into Turkey from neighborhing Syria, Reuters reported.

According to Turkey's military, the security force members spotted seven alleged Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants trying to cross the border into Turkey. The two groups clashed, leaving one soldier dead and another wounded.

In another incident, a Turkish soldier was shot dead on Tuesday by PKK militants in Diyarbakir's Sur district, which has been under military curfew since December

Turkey has been engaged in an all-out military offensive since July against PKK militants in Turkey's mostly Kurdish cities in the southeast.
